Senior Marketing Manager
Overview
This is an execution-focused role responsible for implementing marketing and brand-building activities for Billion Dollar Boy (BDB) and FiveTwoNine within the US market. Reporting to the CMO, you will play a key role in building brand awareness, supporting US market growth, and executing marketing initiatives across both brands. This role requires a hands-on approach, combining elements of content support, event coordination, brand guardianship, and performance marketing execution, with a focus on the US landscape. You will work closely with global marketing teams and US-based colleagues to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective marketing delivery.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of one day per week in our New York office. In addition to this, there will be an all-agency day every other week in the office. This role will also involve the hosting of FiveTwoNine community events (e.g., monthly creator breakfasts/mixers) in the New York office, which will constitute additional in-person days as per the event schedule.
Key Responsibilities
US Market Implementation & Support:
- Execute the adaptation of global marketing strategies for the US market for both BDB and FiveTwoNine, ensuring cultural relevance.
- Gather US market insights and feedback to inform global marketing strategies.
- Implement US market initiatives in alignment with global objectives, focusing on practical execution.
- Support market analysis to identify US-specific opportunities and emerging trends.
- Assist in tracking KPIs for US marketing activities to understand effectiveness.
Brand Building & Content (FiveTwoNine Focus):
- Support the implementation of the global brand strategy for FiveTwoNine within the US market with US creators - supporting FiveTwoNine team- e.g filming in the NY office.
- Contribute to building and engaging the FiveTwoNine online community through platforms like Instagram and newsletters.
Event Planning and Execution (FiveTwoNine Focus):
- Plan and execute a range of events for FiveTwoNine in the US, including regular community mixers in NYC and larger-scale events as required.
- Monthly creator breakfasts and mixers in NY office - replicating success of London
- With FiveTwoNine team, curate each event - agenda, logistics, catering, promotional materials (in collaboration with FiveTwoNine), invite list management, on-site event management, and post-event follow-up.
Thought Leadership & Events (BDB Focus):
- Support the creation and distribution of thought leadership content and launch campaigns for BDB in the US and global.
- Assist in maintaining consistent brand messaging for BDB across all channels.
- Support the identification and cultivation of strategic partnerships and event opportunities for BDB in the US.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events and conferences for BDB, focusing on practical implementation within the US.
Copywriting & Award Submissions (BDB Focus):
- Independently craft clear and engaging copy for social media, newsletters, case studies, website content, and other marketing channels for BDB in the US, ensuring brand consistency.
- Develop and submit award applications for BDB, highlighting key US achievements.
- Assist in the management of a case study programme that showcases BDB's US client partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence:
- Collaborate with internal teams (both US-based and global), providing marketing support and assistance for both brands.
- Contribute to internal communication efforts regarding US marketing activities.
- Support the execution of group marketing campaigns within the US market.
