Head of Growth (SaaS / Influencer Marketing Tech) – Companion (London)
Job Overview
We’re looking for a commercially-driven Head of Growth to own and scale Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) for Companion, an award-winning influencer marketing platform.
This is a full-funnel role with a single objective: build predictable, compounding MRR. You will be responsible for generating pipeline, closing revenue, and driving net revenue retention through Sales and Client Success.
This is a hands-on role, with an expectation to prove a repeatable commercial model, then scale it through team growth.
You’ll work closely with Marketing and Product to refine how we acquire, convert, and grow customers.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Closing Revenue (Primary Focus)
Personally lead and close high-value deals with senior stakeholders (CMO, Head of Marketing, Social, Influencer, Comms)
Own performance across the funnel from qualified opportunity to closed revenue
Develop compelling commercial narratives, pricing strategies, and negotiation approaches
2. Building a Repeatable Revenue Engine
Build and scale a high-quality pipeline, owning pipeline generation strategy in partnership with Marketing
Improve conversion rates across the funnel (lead → opportunity → closed)
Define and optimise key growth metrics (pipeline coverage, win rates, sales cycles)
3. Scaling Through Team & Hiring
Build a repeatable commercial model by scaling proven approaches across the team and hiring to extend and accelerate growth
Lead and develop the Sales team, ensuring consistent target attainment
Implement clear sales processes, forecasting discipline, and CRM hygiene
Coach team members on deal strategy, stakeholder management, and closing
4. Owning Retention & Expansion Outcomes
Own MRR growth across new business and existing customers, including NRR, churn, and expansion
Lead the Client Success function (via the CS team) to deliver strong customer outcomes
Identify and scale upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Use data and customer insight to address churn drivers and improve retention strategy
5. Go-to-Market & Growth Strategy
Own go-to-market execution, working closely with Marketing and Product
Refine positioning, pricing, and packaging based on market feedback
Feed customer and market insight into product development and roadmap
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
Consistently hitting or exceeding MRR growth targets
A predictable pipeline with strong conversion rates and clear forecasting
A repeatable sales model that can be taught, measured, and scaled
Early hires in Sales performing against targets
Improved net revenue retention, with clear levers for expansion and churn reduction
Job Requirements
7+ years in commercial, sales, or growth roles (SaaS, MarTech, or influencer ecosystem preferred)
Proven track record of owning and scaling recurring revenue (MRR/ARR)
Strong closer with experience landing mid-to-large deals
Experience building or scaling sales teams and processes
Understanding of full-funnel growth (acquisition, conversion, retention)
Highly commercial, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Existing relationships across brands and agencies
Experience with influencer marketing workflows, measurement, or reporting
Experience scaling SaaS revenue from early to growth stage
Familiarity with pricing models and SaaS monetisation strategies
