Head of Brand Partnerships
Job Overview
FiveTwoNine has entered a significant growth phase. Over the past year, we have secured high-profile brand partnerships, expanded our event and research footprint, and strengthened our position as a leading voice within the creator economy.
As we scale this momentum, we are hiring our first dedicated Head of Brand Partnerships to drive the next phase of commercial growth.
The Head of Brand Partnerships is responsible for driving revenue growth across FiveTwoNine through high-value, long-term brand partnerships, sponsorships and strategic collaborations. Beyond securing deals, this role acts as the senior commercial lead and relationship owner for brand partners - ensuring partnerships are nurtured, strategically developed and expanded over time.
Sitting at the intersection of culture, creators and commerce, this role translates FiveTwoNine’s community, IP, research and events into commercially impactful and culturally credible partnerships for leading global brands.
Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and own FiveTwoNine’s partnerships revenue strategy across events, research, IP and community activations
Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of brand partners across tech, media, entertainment, finance, beauty, fashion and culture
Identify new partnership formats and scalable commercial opportunities (e.g. sponsorship tiers, content IP, councils, funds, research programmes)
Deliver consistently against revenue targets while protecting FiveTwoNine’s premium positioning and long-term brand equity
Brand Partnerships, Deal Leadership & Relationship Ownership
Lead outreach, pitching and senior stakeholder relationship development
Structure partnership proposals, pricing models and multi-touch commercial packages
Negotiate contracts and manage deals from first conversation through to signed agreement
Act as the senior commercial relationship owner for key brand partners
Remain closely engaged post-sale to ensure partnerships deliver against objectives, stay strategically aligned and create clear pathways for renewal and expansion
Identify upsell and long-term growth opportunities across the FiveTwoNine and wider BDB ecosystem
Build multi-year strategic partnerships rather than one-off sponsorships
Activation & Collaboration
Partner closely with community, events and marketing teams to ensure seamless and high-quality execution
Stay actively involved throughout delivery, maintaining senior-level client contact and oversight
Ensure brand integrations are culturally credible, creator-first and additive to the community
Monitor performance against commercial commitments and proactively address risks or opportunities
Lead post-campaign reviews and forward planning conversations to drive renewals and expanded scope
Market Insight & Opportunity Development
Stay close to creator economy trends, brand investment priorities and cultural shifts
Proactively identify white-space opportunities for new IP, partnerships and revenue streams
Feed commercial insight into FiveTwoNine’s long-term strategy and product development
Skills & Attributes
Proven experience in partnerships, sponsorships, brand collaborations or commercial strategy
Strong knowledge of the US market, including brand partnership landscapes, creator economy dynamics and commercial deal structures
Experience managing and growing senior brand relationships beyond initial deal close
Comfortable operating as both commercial lead and strategic partner
Background in the creator economy, media, entertainment, advertising, talent agencies, events or community platforms strongly preferred
Strong track record of closing high-value brand deals and building long-term partnerships
Commercially confident — able to structure packages, negotiate effectively and build scalable revenue models
Comfortable working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
Strong relationship builder with senior-level stakeholders

Our Values
We believe one of the biggest issues advertising agencies face is reputational. Our vision is to change that by setting a new standard of advertising with a greater social purpose, where creativity is democratised, and technology drives efficiency and effectiveness.
Billion Dollar Boy has identified industry problems and potential solutions, leading to a set of Future Behaviours that should be adopted by every agency to positively change advertising as a whole:
Work with brands, but on behalf of people - Brands are clients, but agencies must prioritise people’s interests, educating brands on consumer importance and acting on behalf of the people.
Seek out less heard voices, act upon what they tell you - Diverse opinions and perspectives improve work and the world. Agencies must actively listen to and act on a broad range of voices.
Be fair to everyone, then you’ll have nothing to hide - Agencies should ensure objective and transparent reward structures to promote equality.
Treat your clients like friends and employees like best friends - Clients provide opportunities, but employees turn them into work. Agencies must prioritise employees' wellbeing.
Solve problems with a curious mind - Creativity involves original ideas. Agencies should explore unproven solutions and take risks for better outcomes, even if things aren’t broken.
Empower employees with a framework for freedom - Provide supportive structures without restrictions, allowing employees to make decisions and control their career progression within clear business parameters.

We encourage employees to be open and confident and appreciate that every member of the team makes a vital difference.
Billion Dollar Boy embraces equality, diversity and inclusion and will seek to promote these benefits in all of our business activities.
